The Origins of Jazz Music

Here is an article I wrote in order to study Jazz and World Music. Excerpted from various sources, may be useful for you all.
The progenitor of jazz music, that is urban music, from rural areas to the south just like the streets in American cities. This is the result of two significant musical traditions, namely West Africa, and Europe. West African influence on jazz in the form of a continuous rhythm, movement, and emotions play jazz very well supported. While the European condiments more influence in terms of quality musical harmony and melodiy. Combination offensive from both these traditions to produce a music that plays in a meter and his reinterpretation of his use of tones in new combinations, creating the blue tones that express feelings, both sad and happy. Cries of cultivators/slave-combined with the sounds of the musicians of New Orleans style, to produce a new type of music. Gospel Music from the melt with the church in the 20th century known as "the blues", offers a vocal seasoning well translated into the instrument.
Marching Bands, which was played not only by white people but also blacks, introducing instruments that otherwise has to maintain an expression of the classical music tradition. Drums and strings combine with trumpet, trombone, tuba, and saxophone. Music from West Africa and the music created by slaves translated by different methods by the influence of Caribbean and Latin rhythm. And what ultimately became a popular song is accompanied by elements of Gospel, Blues, and Field Hollers (shouts cultivators), adds a rich texture to the music world had never heard it before. American music world, becoming mature with such a transformation would be jazz. In the end, ragtime into this movement toward the end of 19th century, and the rest, like they say, has become history.
